COMPADRE VAMOS A GOZAR is played here by Enric Madriguera. During the swing years 1930 and 40'S Enric Madriguera and his orchestra were very famous among the big bands. He uses to play many of DON AZPIAZU rumbas which were not easy to play by the époque standards. This tune was played almost by every well known orchestra. In this vintage video you will see this famous bandleader with his orchestra. This dance is known today in Cuba as EL BAILE DEL TORNILLO. Which literally translated means the dance of the screw because the dancer rotates like a screw around the girl.
